FLIPPOMUSIC GLOBALJAZZ has presented the unique program of "WorldJazz" since 1991 - a program overflowing with diverse originals by Dave Flippo. Just a few short years after it's appearance, the band release it's first CD on Southport Records and won a spot at the Taste of Chicago after taking first place in Chicago's the Cruise to Chicago Contest...

... Three CD's later, the band has added vocal tunes from their newest CD - Tao Tunes - and blends in unique arrangements of both familiar jazz standards and contemporary classics. The ensemble performs as either a quartet or quintet and has appeared at a multitude of colleges, libraries, museums, street festivals and area jazz clubs (below).
