Dr. Dave Flippo has always had a love for the music of India. He studied it and attended numerous concerts during his time studying music composition and piano at Eastman School of Music and the University of Michigan. He has personally transcribed a sizable collection of the music of Bollywood directly from videos of the original performances. Dr. Flippo has performed for parties and wedding receptions at several Chicago venues including Ashyana Banquets, Chicago Hilton Towers, the Hilton Double Tree - Oakbrook and in private homes.
He can provide an electric piano with proper amplification when necessary.

Aside from his piano playing, David studied raga theory with Bansurist Lyon Leifer (student of Devendra Murdeshwar) for several years and composed two jazz/raga compositions for his ensemble Flippomusic's second CD, Ganesh.
While Dr. Flippo primarily presents an all-Bollywood program, he can include jazz, classical and American show tunes and contemporary music from all decades to the program if desired.
